Bedtime Stories

Watched Bedtime Stories on Sunday, and this Adam Sandler (Click, Zohan, Anger Management fame) is very funny!!!

I have to say Disney make a good holiday movie again, Enchanted for example, is a very romantic and combine Disney classic movie like snow white into modern world into is something we can relate to and make fun of it. Same with Bedtime Story with a magical twist.

"Skeeter Bronson (Adam Sandler), is a hotel handyman whose life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true."

This short synopsis is something that can make anyone happy, not just kids. It's a very enjoyable movie for the whole family.

Verdict: 4/5

The Day The Earth Stood Still

The remake of an old film, and I watched it just now with my sister... I have to say I like Sci-fi (Day After Tomorrow, Terminator) movies a lot. So, I decided to watch this movie, and I watched it.

Personally, I think this movie is not bad. Even though, many fans of the original movie and reviewers felt the movie is not good... But I think is not bad...

Me to reviewers: They need to make it to fit into our present timeline okay... We're facing not only war, but also Global Warming... This movie is one of the messages media brings to us...

Verdict: 3/5 (WATCH!)

F1 cars getting ugly

Man, F1 cars is a beauty, the slick design and flat and low car to improve the car aerodynamics on the race track. The speed up to 300++ km/h and still so stable. What an engineering marvel!!!

But recently, a prototype of the future formula one cars are out... and the looks is:

It was a shame, it looks like a toy car more than a machine... Formula One Association, Please NO!!!!!

Sunday at Gurney

Well, I spent my whole day at Gurney Plaza, almost... And I walked on the new wing of Gurney Plaza for the first time, and it feels like a different places (I mean different from the original Gurney). And I have quite a couple of shots here:

The hall or some kind like that in the new wing...
And a tall Christmas tree was set up there, quite nice...

A women boutique shop, every man's nightmare...

And the new Parkson at the new wing, which connected to the old wing... Now is twice the size of the old one (my cousin is on the right, testing his photography skills)

And the last shot is I try to tilt the camera and take the shots of the decorations. This new wing make shopping at the best mall in Penang even better...

After those shopping (woman's things), we decided to have lunch at the old wing's food court at the lower ground floor. I say the food there is not bad for a food court. I ordered Japanese Fried Rice, which is my favourite food at there, and a cup of Sarsi. My other cousins also ordered the same thing except Chris, who ordered himself a plate of western food, which looks delicious too... And we continued shopping, again.... zzzz......

After those shopping, we went for a movie called Bolt, voiced by John Travolta and Miley Cyrus... And I have to say this animations is one of the best movie I've seen this year. And 2008 is a year full of nice animations too. First is the adorable WALL-E, secondly Kung Fu Panda, then we have the abnormal Madagascar 2. Finally this cute Bolt.
