Michael Jackson Memorial Service

How you pay tribute to a celebrity that just passed away? Through a memorial service of course... I watched Michael Jackson's memorial yesterday and I was sad and touched by the tribute speeches, singing and speeches from his family... His brother all wore his famous diamond glove during the Motown 25th Anniversary performance...

The show started with Mariah Carey singing Jackson 5's famous hit, I'll Be There, which was also Mariah's hit after she did the cover of the song. But I can't arranged the order of other appearances but I know there were Usher, Queen Latifah, Kobe Bryant, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Brooke Shields, Jennifer Hudson, John Mayer and etc. Brother Jermaine Jackson have the performance, singing smiles, one of Michael's favourite song. He broke down in tears, I understand and I feel sorry for the whole family's losses.

In the end, every celebrity joined the stage and started sing We Are The World with families and friends. The childrens then come up the stage and sing Heal The World...

The families stayed on stage and gave speeches about Michael, everyone that were giving speeches all cried before and while giving speeches. One particular speech that is the most moving of all is from Michael's daughter, stating 'Michael as the best dad and will miss him'... From that moment I got the feeling I wanted to cry because it is so moved and touched because his children never come out and appearing publicly giving speeches

The Fallen has Risen

Sorry for the delay of this writing article, this is because of the connection of my ISP is very very poor (screw you streamyx) and unable to enter my blog (crazy)

This is the movie we all have been taking for months, ever since the first teaser on New Year's Day at the USA (not here) and Youtube, I am so crazy about it, because I like the first movie very much...

For me, the movie is worth every penny I spent inside the cinema... I think this movie is a very good follow up to the original movie, Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye (actually unofficial name)...

First up, the CGI... If you think original Transformers graphics and CGI is worth raving about, you're wrong, Revenge of the Fallen (RotF) makes the first one look like a child's play... Actually the first movie is a little bit confusing in the end because the Autobots and Decepticons fight in 10 blocks LA city, makes the scene hard to see sometimes... Now, Michael Bay had realised the mistake and put the fight in Shanghai, some woods and the most famous punya, Eygpt... The robots actually much more realistic compared to the first one, from 30 terabytes to 140 terabytes, insane...

For me, the story is not as bad as they say actually, but like they said, predictable. First up, what do you expect from a movie that is based on a toy?!?! If they write as good as Star Wars, Slumdog Millionare, it would be a total surprise... A boy wants to grow up normally like every other boy, trying to forget robots but can't get away with it... ... ... One thing though, the story a little bit unbalanced, the beginning is at okay length, but the middle is too long and the ending\climax is too short. The title character, The Fallen have a little screentime, they should make his, sorry... it's time on screen more, coz he...sorry again (the CGI makes me think the Fallen is real)... it is the main talking point of the story, but other than that is good though...

The weak point of the movie is the human characters... Their story and characteristics seeing no developement throughout the movie, they never see any changes... Yes, Megan Fox is hot but other than that, she just boring in the movie, just running with his boyfriend here and there (same with Shia in the movie). But I praise the robots acting though, I'm so glad Bumblebee is silent like it did in the first movie, because he... IT!!! (not again) show it's feeling thoughout the whole movie through his faces and radio signal. My favourite robot, Starscream (F-22 Raptor fighter jet) has more scene and it's evilness shown, trying to take the throne from Megatron and conquer the Earth, it is much cooler than other Autobots because of its transformation patterns...

Final say, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen actually lived up to its hype being the pure entertainment movie, vowing fans and viewers wanting for more for the third installment (including me). Even the story being uninteresting and boring human characters, the CGI and robots makes the toy and cartoon based blockbuster a must watch.
